A boneless shoulder roasting joint from Primrose Herd, produced from their herd of native breed pigs on a world heritage site in Cornwall. This cut is super tender and subtly sweet, with the skin left on to produce an amazing layer of crackling.

Family-run Primrose Herd produces premium-quality pork products in the beautiful Cornish countryside, in the heart of a World Heritage site. Taking a traditional, non-intensive approach to farming, Sally and Bill Lugg (alongside their 3 children) use tried-and-tested family recipes to create products with excellent marbling, perfect fat distribution and fantastic flavour. Their pork cuts, bacon and sausages have won multiple awards, and are supplied to some of the South West's most renowned restaurants.

    Lovely pork

    Really lovely cut of pork, crackling crisped up nicy and the meat was extremely tender and full of flavour

    Delivery was absolutely as advised, on time and packed reallt securely in chilled box with cool packs

    Outstanding quality

    Very good piece of pork with large fat cap to keep the meat moist for slow cooking. Skin was great, made excellent cracking. I cut off the skin in 1 layer and finished it off in the air fryer, if all things, and it made the cracking next level.
