The Cherry Bochet (Medd Bochet Ceirios) from Mountain Mead is a sweet and sour, cherry mead, balancing the sour cherry with sweet, slightly caramelised honey. It is juicy, fresh, and very quaffable! 

This is a new mead for 2025 – following a hugely successful small test batch back in 2023 with just 40 bottles, which sold out in 2 days! 

At 10% ABV, this is the lowest alcohol content of any of Mountain Mead's offerings. It comes in a 500ml glass bottle with resealable wooden-topped cork closure. 

Founded in 2016 by friends Mike & Jacob, Mountain Mead produces a range of small batch Welsh mead (sometimes called honey wine) from their distillery at the foothills of the Snowdonia mountain range. Starting with the finest quality raw Welsh honey, head Mead Maker Mike mixes, filters and bottles the mead by hand using a slow, natural process that produces a truly wonderful product.
