The award-winning Apple and Blackcurrant Mead is a fruity, sweet mead made with honey, apple juice and crushed blackcurrants. It has a nice acidity coming from the blackcurrants and apple juice which cuts through the sweetness, giving it a good balance of fruit and honey. Juicy, fruity and refreshing! 

This mead is 11% ABV and comes in a 500ml glass bottle with resealable wooden-topped cork closure.

Founded in 2016 by friends Mike & Jacob, Mountain Mead produces a range of small batch Welsh mead (sometimes called honey wine) from their distillery at the foothills of the Snowdonia mountain range. Starting with the finest quality raw Welsh honey, head Mead Maker Mike mixes, filters and bottles the mead by hand using a slow, natural process that produces a truly wonderful product.
