Wiltshire-based Witchmark Distillery have taken their celebrated single origin English gin to the next level, with their Black Lime Single Origin Gin capturing the essence of exotic spices and complex citrus.

Juniper and coriander form a rich based, elevated by the smoky tang of black lime and the numbing spice of Szechuan pepper. Warmth and depth are layered in thanks to clove and orris root, while a fruity finish is delivered through yuzu and elderberry. A gin for those with an adventurous spirit.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Bright citrus from black lime and yuzu, underpinned by warm clove and the resinous aroma of juniper.

Palate: Zesty and vibrant, with a smoky tang of black lime, complemented by tingling Szechuan pepper and subtle herbal notes.

Finish: Smooth and lingering, with sweet elderberry and earthy spice rounding out the bold flavours. Perfect in a Negroni or simply served with premium tonic and a slice of lime.

Nestled in the historic village of Fonthill Bishop, Wiltshire, Witchmark Distillery produces exceptional small-batch British vodka and gin. Operating from a Grade II listed barn dating back to the 1600s, the distillery blends heritage with modern craftsmanship. 

Sustainability is central to Witchmark's ethos. They source barley from Fonthill Farm, a local regenerative agriculture system, and generate solar energy through a 100kW array on their warehouse roof in partnership with Nadder Community Energy. Their stills are powered by bio-liquid propane gas recovered from eco road fuel production, and they employ state-of-the-art heat recovery in their production process.
