Established in 2014 by partners Sam and Claire, Sam Joseph Chocolates brings handcrafted, premium chocolates to the North West of England. Drawing from their extensive experience as pastry chefs in London, they set up their production kitchen in Oldham and began showcasing their creations at local foodie markets across Manchester.
Their dedication to quality and craftsmanship led to a permanent spot in Altrincham Market House later that year, where they invested wholeheartedly to establish their shop. As they approach a decade in the Market House, Sam and Claire express heartfelt gratitude to their customers for their unwavering support.
Sam honed his pastry and chocolate-making skills in Newcastle, with his culinary journey taking him across London and Manchester, eventually rising to the position of Head Pastry Chef. Claire's pastry chef career began in Liverpool and navigated through Manchester and London, leading her to the position of Head Pastry Chef in esteemed establishments. Alongside her culinary journey, Claire fortified her skills with a degree in accounting and finance, a vital asset in steering their joint venture to success.
Fate brought Claire and Sam together at Manchester's Lowry Hotel, both dedicated to their craft. Now, as a married couple and proud parents to two children, they unite their passion for chocolate, crafting their sweet empire side by side. As much as Sam and Claire are the architects of delectable treats, their children serve as the primary taste-testers!
For those seeking high-quality British chocolates, Sam Joseph Chocolates offers a delightful range of handcrafted confections, reflecting their passion, expertise, and commitment to excellence.
