A professional version of Netherton Foundry's famous two-handle prospector pans, featuring deeper sides and a gently curved profile that delivers a broad cooking surface. These pans are designed to transition from hob to oven to table, and is a fantastic choice for everything from paellas and roasts to crispy mac & cheese.

Handcrafted from black spun iron that delivers all the heat retention and durability of cast iron, with significantly less weight. The body is made with 99.1% pure British iron and comes pre-seasoned with natural flax oil, meaning you can use it straight away - the flax coating is easy to clean, naturally non-stick, and can be simply restored at home if needed.

Suitable for all types of heat source including oven, induction, gas hob, aga, electric hob and open flame, this pan is available in five sizes: 13cm (perfect for individual portions), 18cm, 23cm and 28cm.

Family-run Netherton Foundry have been handcrafting their exceptional cookware for more than 30 years from their HQ in south Shropshire. Using materials principally sourced from their native Shropshire and the neighbouring counties, their spun iron creations are a celebration of provenance, sustainability and quality.

You'll find a range of their saucepans, famous prospector pans and frying pans in our range, made from either copper or innovative spun iron - unlike traditional cast iron, spun iron is much lighter and easier to handle, while still offering all the same heat distribution and hardiness benefits of their heavier cousins.

Only wash by hand. The pan is oven safe if the handle is removed.

Every single pan is made by hand, meaning each one is unique - they won't be perfectly flat, but you can keep them as flat as possible by allowing the pan to come slowly to temperature, and never dropping a hot pan into cold water.

It comes with a 2-year warrantee for domestic use.
