This incredible Bungay Raw Butter from Fen Farm Dairy, made from milk from their own herds of Montbeliarde and Fresian cows, is the UK's only raw farmhouse butter produced using a lactic culture. 

Produced as a 1kg sheet that's hand wrapped in silver paper, it's perfect for baking and viennoiserie. 

Fen Farm Dairy make their butter the traditional way by hand, souring their cream using lactic bacteria, and hand-churning with traditional wooden "butter hands". It's a real labour of love that produces a rich, creamy and complex flavour to their butter that must be tried to be truly appreciated.

    Founded by the Crickmore family three generations ago, Fen Farm Dairy is one of the UK's most celebrated dairy producers, setting the standard for quality, taste and sustainable farming practices.

    All of their award-winning cheeses, butters and ghees are produced from a happy herd of Montbeliarde cows - the absolute top breed for cheesemaking - who are free to roam the fertile marshland of the Waveney River Valley. As well as producing the Michelin-star chef favourite Baron Bigod cheese and a variety of other exciting dairy products, the team at Fen Farm are dedicated to sustainably farming their land and protecting the local ecosystems - they're on a mission to becoming carbon negative, souring the majority of their energy from renewable sources and taking a low-intervention approach to farming.
