This multi-award winning sweet mead from Mountain Mead is a standout example of Welsh mead making, ideal for those with a sweet tooth. Sweet buckwheat honey is perfectly balanced with slight acidity, making it an ideal alternative to dessert wine.

Boda'r Mêl - Honey Buzzard has won a 1 star Great Taste award, gold medal in La Copa Reina, the Spanish national mead competition and bronze medal in the "Wales Distilled" mead competition.

Made in small batches by hand at the foothills of the Snowdonia mountain range, this beautiful Welsh honey mead can be drunk on its own or mixed with tonic, soda or lemonade for a delicious longer drink.

This mead comes in a 500ml glass bottle with a resealable bar-top style cork and wood closure. Available as a single bottle, a gift box, or an extra special gift that also comes with a jar of Welsh honey.

Founded in 2016 by friends Mike & Jacob, Mountain Mead produces a range of small batch Welsh mead (sometimes called honey wine) from their distillery at the foothills of the Snowdonia mountain range.

Starting with the finest quality raw honey, head Mead Maker Mike mixes, filters and bottles the mead by hand using a slow, natural process that produces a truly wonderful product.

Made with Honey, water and yeast.
