This award winning medium dry traditional mead from Mountain Mead is made with Bulgarian lavender honey, earning it a gold medal in the 2023 mead Madness Cup. A deeply floral and complex drink, it's beautifully balanced and softly sweet with light hints of vanilla. 

Made in small batches by hand at the foothills of the Snowdonia mountain range, this beautiful Welsh honey mead can be drunk on its own or mixed with tonic, soda or lemonade for a delicious longer drink. It also makes a fantastic cocktail when mixed with champagne or prosecco.

This mead comes in a 500ml glass bottle with a resealable bar-top style cork and wood closure. 

Founded in 2016 by friends Mike & Jacob, Mountain Mead produces a range of small batch Welsh mead (sometimes called honey wine) from their distillery at the foothills of the Snowdonia mountain range.

Starting with the finest quality raw Welsh honey, head Mead Maker Mike mixes, filters and bottles the mead by hand using a slow, natural process that produces a truly wonderful product.
