The sugary rich whey by-product from Isle of Mull's cheesemaking process has been distilled to create a pure, natural spirit - taken up a notch to cheesemaker's strength at 60% ABV. Expect a smooth mouthfeel with hints of vanilla on the palate, in a sustainable spirit that embodies the circular economy at Sgriob-ruadh farm. A hefty spirit best enjoyed over ice, and a wedge of Traditional Farmhouse Cheddar.
Produced on Sgriob-ruadh farm, Isle of Mull’s award-winning farmhouse cheese is made from raw milk and then matured for at least a year in their cellars. The result is an incredibly mature, slightly dry cheese that boasts richly savoury and boozy flavours. We love their Farmhouse variety: it’s strong, rich and slightly drier in texture than your usual farmhouse cheddar, and their Hebridean blue cheese is strong, creamy and decadent.
